Jon Regnart

Senior Consultant, Low Carbon

Jon is a Senior Consultant within Gemserv’s Low Carbon Business Unit, helping across multiple sectors. His current activities include leading the Transport and Industry Working Groups for Hydrogen UK as well as strategically supporting the policy and analysis team in EVs, green skills and low carbon technology deployment and commercialisation.

Jon is an experienced strategist with a demonstrated history of working in the low carbon sector. He has a wealth of experience and contacts in the automotive sector from his 7.5 years at the Advanced Propulsion Centre. During his time at the APC, he led two refreshes of the Automotive Council product and technology consensus roadmaps. Both iterations of roadmaps acted as important UK automotive sector documents, reflecting the key technology and product advancements in EV technology.

Jon also led the APC’s strategic supply chain function, providing BEIS sound evidence to guide future automotive sector investments. Jon is also active in the global battery community, contributing to the widely praised Battery Report 2021 and is a founding member of Battery Pub. Jon recently completed an MSc in Sustainable Development from SOAS, which enables him to communicate complex technologies, products, and supply chain challenges to a diverse range of audiences.
