Michael King
Graduate Economic Analyst
Michael works as an analyst in the Economics Team within the Low Carbon Business Unit. He has worked with industries across the energy and heating sectors, developing econometric models for multiple different low carbon technologies.
With an undergraduate degree in Astrophysics and a master’s in Climate Change, Michael has utilised his scientific background to help advance the modelling capabilities of the team and develop new analytical techniques. He has experience in domestic heating and modelling low carbon heating systems across various property archetypes, supported by his understanding of building physics. Michael also works on carbon accounting projects, calculating carbon footprints and developing net zero targets.
