Westminster Energy, Environment & Transport Forum policy conference are hosting an online conference this November to discuss, “Next steps for energy code reform in the UK and modernising system governance – industry frameworks, simplification, innovation, and new business models”.

This conference aims to examine priorities for energy code reform in the UK, including next steps for governance, the way forward for supporting market innovation, and the measures that can be taken to simplify codes, drive industry competition, and overcome barriers to entry.

It will be an opportunity to consider the measures outlined in the Government’s Energy White Paper and what they will mean for energy codes in the UK as well as system modernisation.

The event will also discuss the Governments response to the recent consultation on energy code reform, as well as the review of Great Britain’s energy system operation by Ofgem, and how these affect priorities for energy codes in the UK.
