New Energy Policy Update Launched

18th Jun, 2019

Ecuity Consulting LLP (now a part of Gemserv) in collaboration with Sustainability West Midlands (SWM) have recently launched a Quarterly Energy Policy Update. The update provides insights into the fast moving world of UK low carbon energy policy to enable businesses to influence and benefit from future changes.

The update is aimed at organisations operating in or impacted by policy in the heat, power and low-carbon energy sectors. It will be circulated proactively by SWM to their members, networks and newsletter subscribers. The first update, developed by Ecuity Policy and Commercial Analyst, Samantha Crichton, includes a summary of recent government changes and an energy efficiency market analysis and is available on the Sustainability West Midlands (SWM) website.

Anna Bright, SWM Chief Executive said:

“Sustainability West Midlands is delighted to be collaborating with our member Ecuity to provide the Quarterly Energy Policy Update. The energy policy insight provided by Ecuity through this regular update and its value to our members and networks contributes further to our vision that by 2020 businesses and communities are thriving in a West Midlands that is environmentally sustainable and socially just. I hope the newsletter will prove an excellent and very useful resource and encourage organisations to take up the engagement opportunities outlined in the newsletter.”

Ilias Vazaios, Partner:

“We are delighted to be joining Sustainability West Midlands as a member and partnering together to launch a new Quarterly Energy Policy Update. During a period that sees the creation of the West Midlands Combined Authority and greater policy devolution, this collaboration will contribute to developing awareness on the opportunities of policy as a driver for innovative energy investment in the region and beyond. We look forward to working together with the members of Sustainability West Midlands contributing a policy angle to their efforts to promote a solutions-based approach for sustainability.”
