About Patrick:

Patrick Allcorn is the Head of Local Net Zero at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. In this role, he oversees the development and implementation of local energy projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable energy practices across the UK.

In his current role, he contributed to numerous sustainability and green energy initiatives. His responsibilities frequently included partnering with city councils and private sector entities to develop sustainable heat and waste networks, as well as integrating innovative technologies to reduce emissions and lower costs.

Throughout his time in government, Patrick has concentrated his efforts on addressing the challenges of decarbonising heat, a critical hurdle in the UK’s journey towards net zero.
