Research Analyst

Sandilei s a scientist with 5+ years of research experience in materials and analytical chemistry for sustainable energy conversion (green hydrogen) and storage systems. She has a broad interest in the implementation of decarbonization technologies (both avoidance and removal-based projects) and longer-term goals in shaping sustainable energy investments and policies. Sandile is committed to building linkages between Africa and the sustainable development international space and actively promoting collaboration with keen stakeholders.

Key areas of interest and project involvement include green energy, water harvesting, engineered carbon capture and sustainable agriculture. With a versatile and entrepreneurial drive, she has co-founded and led four entities that separately cater to sustainable community living and the use of innovative manufacturing tools for product development, advancement of STEM, and advocacy for racial and gender parity.
