Consumer Advocate

An accomplished and highly experienced Stakeholder Manager, Sue has an extensive working knowledge of consumer protection, vulnerability, and centricity from her 15-years experience at Ombudsman Services.

As the Consumer Advocacy Champion at Gemserv, also working on the Retail Energy Code , Sue has the freedom to represent consumer interests, including the opening of channels of communication with special interest groups, attending industry events. Supporting colleagues in better considering the potential impacts of proposed industry change on consumers, including the vulnerable, in energy regulation through the contracts that we deliver.

Sue is passionate about driving change and innovation to deliver best in class service to external and internal stakeholders. She prides herself on influencing, a good collaborator who brings warmth, rapport, and commitment to relationships, and bringing stakeholders together. Sue has consumer interest at heart regardless of sector and industry and she will know how to best capture outcomes from the engagement activities with the consumer stakeholder group.
