Ecuity Consulting LLP (now a part of Gemserv) is delighted to have contributed our economic analysis and narrative to a report which was recently awarded winner of Best Publication at the 2017 PA European Excellence Awards. The report, undertaken by FleishmanHillard on behalf of SHV, was prepared on behalf of the FREE project and aimed to show the potential rural areas offer to decreasing CO2 emissions in the EU. It also aimed to raise awareness of the need to create an EU strategy on rural areas and gain support amongst policy makers.
