Anna Quincey
Consultant - Low Carbon
As a Consultant in Gemserv’s Low Carbon Business Unit, Anna supports projects by carrying out research and analysis around low carbon solutions, including potential suitability and impacts in given commercial contexts. Her degree in manufacturing engineering and management from the University of Cambridge provides her with both technical problem-solving skills and an understanding of business and industry.
Anna’s work at Gemserv involves working with varied data and developing methodologies for analysis, frequently seeking to provide insight to inform government policy. This has included developing a fuel poverty model to assess the impacts that different fuel price, fabric efficiency, and heating system changes have on heating affordability, all of which are influenced by energy policy. Anna used this work to estimate the funding gap which needs to be addressed in order to alleviate fuel poverty in England by 2030.
