David Hiller

David Hiller joined Gemserv in 2011 to lead the Consultancy Practice and has seen his role more recently include responsibility for senior teams across Information Security, Data Privacy and Smart Metering. Having started his career in business analysis, he has worked in strategic consultancy, business process outsourcing and as an independent consultant across a number of sectors including Telecoms, Energy, Manufacturing and Low Carbon. David has worked with blue-chip and governmental organisations for the last 15 years developing creative and innovation solutions to address and solve their key business and operational challenges. Most recently David was a Programme Director role within Gemserv’s Major Accounts Team focusing on delivering services to our clients within the Smart Metering sector and delivering the new 5 year growth strategy for the company.

David is a member of the Management Board within the newly formed Low Carbon Business Unit, he also led the recent acquisition and integration of Ecuity Advisory Ltd. He leads the operational delivery for clients ranging from innovators in Electric Vehicles through to helping Government key transformation programmes to deliver net zero. In addition, David is also responsible for ensuring the business unit remains at the forefront of exceptional service delivered to our clients through both strategic investments in new capabilities and operational excellence.

David has a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia a PhD from London University in the Sociology of Technology and outside of work enjoys cycling and participating in the occasional triathlon.
