Josh Wilson
Senior Hydrogen Consulant
Josh is a senior hydrogen consultant within Gemserv’s hydrogen consulting solutions. A mechanical engineer by background, Josh has a diverse background within the hydrogen sector having worked within both the hydrogen consultancy and policy space.
Josh has experience project managing a wide range of projects including market analysis, technoeconomic modelling, stakeholder engagement and commercialisation strategy. He holds a first-class honours degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Birmingham where he specialised in hydrogen in his final year.
Josh previously worked for the trade association Hydrogen UK, playing a leading role in a range of Hydrogen UK’s working groups including the CCUS-enabled Hydrogen Production, Hydrogen Networks and Hydrogen Transport groups. Josh has co-authored a variety of papers focussing on analysing the hydrogen policy landscape, international benchmarking and intervention mechanism analysis, which have formed strong technical expertise and political landscape understanding.
