Toby is a Cyber Security apprentice on a placement at Gemserv from Thales. As a part of the apprenticeship, he is working towards a Cyber Security Technical Professional degree, accredited by the NCSC, through the University of West England. Toby joined Thales straight after his A-Levels in 2021, and over the apprenticeship will undertake a variety of placements focusing on different areas of cyber security that complement his studies.
To date, Toby has worked on projects in the defence and energy sectors, working on and learning about risk, threat intelligence, and infrastructure security.
