The Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) are hosting a conference this March which aims to look at the risks and opportunities for industrial and commercial sectors investing in decarbonisation outside of the industrial clusters.
The Government is pushing forward with its plans to trial hydrogen in large industrial clusters across the UK. However, the road looks much more uncertain for industry outside of these clusters.
This conference will seek to re-frame the debate by turning the spotlight on these more dispersed areas of the UK. We will consider the energy innovations happening in dispersed industry and how long we can wait before beginning to decarbonise.
Gemserv’s Head of Innovation, Clare Jackson will be participating in a panel discussion on “dispersed industrial areas as centres of innovation” focusing on energy innovation hydrogen and industrial energy.
Who should attend?
The conference will provide insights not only at political and policy level but also allow practitioners in industry to share thoughts and challenges as they look to invest in decarbonisation outside of the industrial clusters.
