COP 26 Event: Hydrogen for heating: a consumer-friendly, low-carbon solution?

Date of event 11 November 2021

Time 12:00 - 13:00

Location COP26, Glasgow

At COP26 Bright Blue are hosting a public event on the potential of hydrogen for heating and hard-to-abate sectors.

Hydrogen is one of the most abundant elements, and it may be critical in providing a route to net zero. In this event, we explore the role of hydrogen in our net zero economy, looking at the barriers to its large-scale production, and if it has a role to play in decarbonising home heating or whether it should be reserved for hard-to-abate sectors.

Our Head of Innovation Clare Jackson, will be speaking at this event.
