NHS DSPT New Submission Requirements

16th May, 2024

All organisations that have access to NHS patient information must provide assurances that they can keep this information safe and secure.

The NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) supports providers in ensuring data is being managed safely and securely, helping to safeguard against the risks of a data breach or cyber attack. As data security standards evolve, the DSPT requirements are reviewed and updated to ensure they align with best practice. This has led to changes being introduced for the 2023/2024 annual assessment.

Here Llinos Bradley explores the changes that are coming into effect – and how you can ensure robust DSPT submission by 30th June 2024.
