Llinos has spent the last 20 years working in a healthcare setting having joined the Department of Health initially before moving on to the NHS. Since moving to the NHS, she has developed a keen interest in championing information governance, which has led to operational compliance with sector-specific information governance standards that includes Data Protection, Freedom of Information, health record management, record management, incident management, information risk and data quality.

Llinos is an accomplished Data Protection professional and has undertaken the role of Data Protection Officer within the NHS. She has lead on GDPR compliance and Data Security & Protection projects to comply with NHS-specific standards, which have been accomplished with excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills. She has been actively involved in the operational deployment of new technologies, services and processes by advising and supporting projects with legislative requirements, conducting impact assessments and risk management along with supporting operational challenges to mitigate risk.
