Christina Thompson-Yates

Christina is our Communications Lead and forms the link between public affairs, policy advocacy and strategic communications.

She specialises in translating complex policy frameworks into compelling narratives to raise awareness, encourage parliamentary engagement, and communicate policy positioning for our partners across the low carbon sector.

Prior to this, she worked as a content writer generating in-house, B2B and B2C marketing strategies and content for e-business and spent a year working for a marketing agency in Melbourne, Australia.

Christina completed a BA in Drama and Scriptwriting from Northumbria University and is now a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Outside of work, she enjoys blogging, travelling, and spending time out in nature.

Christina is currently on maternity leave.
